Stir Fry Cabbage with Fish Sauce

กะหล่ำปลีผัดน้ำปลา or stir fry cabbage with fish sauce is a dish that requires few ingredients to make. So simple! This is a very common dish that you can find in many local restaurants when you visit Thailand. The key secret of making this one is the quality of the fish sauce (if you are vegan, can substitute it with soy sauce).

Ingredients (For 4)
Cabbage (weight around 400 g.) ½ piece
Fish sauce 1 tbsp.
Water 2 tbsp.
Vegetable oil 3 tbsp.
Chopped garlic cloves Approx. 5-6
Chillies2 (Feel free to add more if you like spicy)
Directions
Slice the cabbage. Take out the bottom part. Wash the cabbage and rinse it. Set aside
Chopped garlic and chili.
Set up the pan, and turn on high heat. Add chopped garlic, followed by sliced cabbages when the pan is hot (notice the smoke starting to float). Stir and make sure you don’t burn the cabbage.
Add in chopped chili and water.
Serve on the plate with rice.
